MIRTEC is pleased to announce its participation in the SMTA International 2024 event, set to take place from 22-24 October at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois.

At its booth, MIRTEC will showcase its innovative MV-6 OMNI 3D AOI Series, featuring the cutting-edge OMNI-VISION 3D Inspection Technology.

The award-winning MV-6 OMNI 3D AOI Series, which will be on display, incorporates MIRTEC’s advanced OMNI-VISION 3D Inspection Technology. This system combines either a 15MP or 25MP CoaXPress camera with MIRTEC’s pioneering Digital 12 Projection BLUE Moiré 3D Technology, delivering unmatched accuracy and inspection performance.

The MV-6 OMNI series is powered by MIRTEC’s Ultra-High Resolution CoaXPress Vision System, which forms the foundation of the company's 3D inspection capabilities. Utilising MIRTEC’s proprietary Digital 12 Projection BLUE Moiré Technology, these machines enable true 3D inspection by providing precise height measurement data, essential for identifying defects such as lifted components, lifted leads, and assessing post-reflow solder volume.

The MV-6 OMNI models are equipped with four side-view cameras (10MP or 18MP), a 15MP or 25MP top-down camera, a multi-focus programmable Z-axis system, an internal PCB flipper conveyor, and multi-function AOI/SPI fusion technology.

MIRTEC’s INTELLI-PRO Smart Factory Automation Solution is an AI-based software suite designed to enhance the performance and ease of use across MIRTEC’s entire range of AOI machines. INTELLI-PRO includes a deep-learning based automatic part search and teaching function, alongside AI-driven features such as automatic parameter optimisation, character recognition (OCR), foreign object detection (FOD), placement inspection algorithms, and automatic defect type classification.
