The most influential LED exhibition in Taiwan, LED Taiwan is organised by SEMI and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA). Addressing key issues in the industry, this year’s LED Taiwan will feature seven theme pavilions, an international industry forums and a TechSTAGE with ongoing programming. The Taiwan International Lighting Show (TiLS) will be co-located with LED Taiwan. With a combined 700 booths, the exhibitions and conferences expect to attract over 20,000 attendees.
According to DIGITIMES Research, the world's total output value of high-brightness LED market is expected to grow 2.8% to $13.1bn in 2017. The major drivers include an increased proportion of lighting and automotive lighting and increased LED-backlit TV. LED Taiwan is made possible with the collaboration and resources from influential organisations in the industry, including SEMI, TAITRA, the Taiwan Lighting Fixture Export Association and the Taiwan Optoelectronic Semiconductor Industry Association.
Theme pavilions include IR+UV, Laser, High-Brightness LED, LED Components, and Sapphire. CWT, EPISTAR, Epileds, Lite-On, NAURA Microelectronics Equipment, Taikkiso and Yole Développement will do demonstrations on the show floor to help visitors explore the latest trends in the market to increase their global competitiveness.
To enable innovation and add energy to the exhibition floor, TechSTAGE will focus on three topics this year, showcasing the Taiwan LED R&D capability in the areas of LED Manufacturing Equipment & Materials, MicroLED and Smart Lighting & Automobile Lighting.
