Polatis cube optics and RF solutions displayed at OFC 2017
HUBER+SUHNER showcased its latest solutions from Polatis and Cube Optics at OFC 2017 which took place March 21st to 23rd in Los Angeles.
The Swiss Company will also launched the new shuttered LC connector COVERINO and MXPM, an excellent Multicoax connectivity solution for testing applications.
At Booth 2239, HUBER+SUHNER Polatis unveiled the new series 6000 ultra range of fully non-blocking all-optical switches, offering ultra-low loss optical performance of less than 1.0dB (0.5dB typ) from 4x4 to 32x32 ports in a compact 1RU size.
Polatis displayed its reliable, field-proven DirectLight optical switch technology, which powers more than 2,000 systems in-service worldwide and has created the broadest range of transparent, bidirectional, dark-fibre optical circuit switches from 4x4 to 384x384 ports.
“Every year, OFC brings together the biggest names in the field, offering key networking and partnering opportunities and showcasing the latest relevant technologies and advancements, making it the perfect place to display our latest all-optical switch solutions,” said Drew Martin, Market Manager of Optical Switching at HUBER+SUHNER Polatis. “We are looking forward to launching the new range of switches as well as showcasing our other successful solutions to visitors.”
Also highlighted at Booth 2239 was integrated solutions that combine Polatis optical switch modules with HUBER+SUHNER’s innovative Fibre Management Systems - offering a new level of dynamic fibre connectivity for the data centre and remote office - as well as optically-switched RF over Fibre connectivity for antenna remoting, together with all-optical switching solutions for C-RAN monitoring that enable sharing of centralised test equipment that can be scaled to manage thousands of fibre links.
At Booth 2119, HUBER+SUHNER Cube Optics exhibited its successful components portfolio, including passive fibre optical components, Lambda Tosas, WDMs for network upgrade as well as the first shuttered LC connector and the new MXPM board connector.
