Keynote speakers revealed for VOICE 2018

The foundation of VOICE continues to be its comprehensive learning and networking opportunities – including an enhanced technical programme for 2018, featuring paper submissions from authors spanning 12 countries and 28 companies, a partners’ exposition and social gatherings.

This year’s technical tracks will focus on device/system level test, internet of things (IoT), test methodologies, hardware and software design integration, optimising productivity and the latest hot topics.

Attendees can also connect with Advantest product experts during the expanded Technology Kiosk Showcase in both locations.

On the second day of VOICE in San Diego, Mike Walsh, CEO of Tomorrow, a global consultancy on designing companies for the 21st century, will present a keynote on “Reinventing Leadership for the Age of Machine Intelligence.”

A best-selling author and true nomad, Walsh travels more than 300 days a year worldwide, researching trends, collecting innovation case studies and presenting on the future of business. He takes an anthropological approach – scanning the near horizon for emerging technologies and disruptive shifts in human behaviour, and then translating these into pragmatic plans for business transformation.

The VOICE keynote speaker in Taiwan will be Dr. Nicky Lu, chairman, CEO and founder of Etron Technology, Inc., a fabless IC design and product company. As a researcher, design architect, entrepreneur and chief executive, Dr. Lu has dedicated his career to the worldwide IC design and semiconductor industry.

He is an IEEE fellow and holds 30 U.S. patents, has authored more than 60 papers, and received numerous awards, including the National Medal of Excellence in Science & Technology in Taiwan.

At VOICE, Dr. Lu will discuss the “Synergistic Growth of AI and Silicon Age 4.0 Through Heterogeneous Integration of Technologies.”

As VOICE continues to expand, so do the opportunities for networking with added time to the Partners’ Expo, breaks, and a unique evening event in San Diego.
