At Embedded World 2015, which takes place from 24th to 26th February in Nuremberg, Germany, Wind River will deliver a keynote, present industry sessions, and exhibit. Through presentations, product demonstrations and live customer applications, the company will focus on the IoT, and its associated opportunities and challenges.

In the keynote, Chief Strategy Officer Gareth Noyes will discuss how end-to end solutions for the IoT bridge the intersection between information technology and devices, and the critical role software-based solutions like Network Functions Virtualisation (NFV) will play in this era of ‘software-defined everything’.

Wind River’s presentations at the trade show will consider new security perspectives and challenges as cloud and embedded merge, the security of Linux-based IoT gateways, automotive Linux security fabric and the continuous integration for embedded systems using simulation.

"The emerging era of ‘software-defined everything,’ marked by transformative forces such as IoT and NFV, are transforming our industry and pushing the pace of innovation across market segments," commented Gareth Noyes, Chief Strategy Officer, Wind River. "Embedded World provides a suitable forum for the industry to come together to discuss this evolving embedded landscape, and we look forward to leading conversations around key industry topics that address this increasingly connected world."
