Intelligent factory solution on display at Hannover Messe
At Hannover Messe, IntelliSense.io will showcase the latest upgrades to its Intelligent Factory solution. Plant Utility System Optimisation will be demonstrated at the trade show. This delivers significant improvements to process plants that want to take advantage of Industry 4.0 capabilities to gain significant energy reductions and extend life of their capital equipment.
On display will also be the Brains Virtual Optimisation Simulator (VOS), which provides a system simulation environment that is calibrated continuously with real time data, allowing engineers and plant operators to evaluate the consequences of implementing changes to equipment controls in an offline environment. The VOS has designed using web application principles of simplicity and ease of use for both technical and non-technical users.
The Brains WSN, which utilises Linear Technology’s SmartMesh wireless sensor networking modules LTP5900-WHM and LTP5901-WHM, will also be on show.
These modules deliver ultralow power operation and less than 99.999% data reliability, ensuring that the WSN can be retrofitted and deployed in a varied range of operating conditions. The Brains WSN is being used in process plants to rapidly deploy parallel data acquisition infrastructure without any interference to existing control systems.
Joy Weiss, President, Dust Networks group, Linear Technology, said: “SmartMesh wireless sensor networks are being used extensively in harsh industrial locations in order to optimise business operations. By joining real-time sensor data with enterprise level analytics, IntelliSense.io’s Intelligent Factory will enable end users to improve efficiency in their plants.”
Sam G. Bose, CEO, IntelliSense.io, commented: “With the move towards the Industry 4.0 era of delivering services that combine traditional operational technologies and modern computing technologies, process plants can have a dramatic impact on improving their yield, productivity of their workforce and efficiency of their existing systems with limited upfront capital expenditure. The capability and knowledge IntelliSense.io delivers is based on combining traditional systems knowledge with real time data to enable efficiency improvements that were not possible before.”
The Intelligent Factory solution and its upgrades will be showcased at the Linear Technology stand, stand G29, in hall 9.
