Green Hills Software to showcase at embedded world 2017
Green Hills Software will be demonstrating at embedded world 2017 how the highest levels of safety and security can be delivered for IoT devices and automotive cockpits. This combination of Green Hills’ safety-certified INTEGRITY RTOS with INTEGRITY Multivisor virtualisation provides a trusted software foundation for system designers to build a single scalable platform hosting guest operating sysems while concurrently running safety-critical applications.
This allows safe combination of one or more Linux, Android or other operating systems with ASIL safety-critical functions. Freedom from interference is assured by the independently certified INTEGRITY RTOS separation architecture. GPU resources can be shared between critical and non-critical applications. Native AUTOSAR Classic and Adaptive AUTOSAR are able to run in protected partitions.
Demonstrations on the stand will include: ADAS automated driving intelligence and consolidated safety-critical instrument clusters powered by Intel, NXP and Renesas processors, respectively.
There will also be a demonstration showing how the INTEGRITY Multivisor virtualisation platform secures Linux and Android-based IoT devices from malware. It is a flexible software architecture that protects safety- and security-critical functions in systems running consumer operating systems like Linux, Android or Windows.
This demonstration shows how developers in the embedded Linux world can dramatically improve debugging productivity by using the powerful MULTI IDE and Green Hills Probe for source-level debugging of the Linux kernel, boot loaders, applications and device drivers. Flexible modes of debugging include JTAG stop-mode debugging and run-mode debugging.
