Fujikura Europe will exhibit its latest laser technology at LASER World of PHOTONICS, 26th-29th June 2017, in Munich.

Among the products on show will be the new Single Mode CW fibre Laser, which comes with a significant high powered air-cooled system of 500W, high stability and a super long lifetime. The latest development by the splicing giant offers customers superior laser technology and reliability in the global market.

“With stable machining performance unaffected by the laser back reflection, and laser beam enabling vertical irradiation, the CW Fibre Laser is perfect for various applications and environments,” said Simon Richardson, Head of Department (Optics/Europe) at Fujikura Europe. “The air cooling functionality is particularly important, to ensure the removal of excess heat at rates of less than 500W, and improve reliability.”

Also on display will be the renowned LZM series - part of the ARCMaster fusion splicers, which have been developed to provide the ultimate in performance and flexibility for diverse markets around the world.

“The need for accurate, reliable and consistent splicing technology has expanded to applications beyond telecommunications, and so splicers must now be versatile enough to cater for different applications, which is where ARCMaster comes in,” said Neil Bessant, Fusion Splicer Divisional Manager at Fujikura Europe. “The LAZERMaster LZM-100 for example, has a CO2 laser which provides an extremely stable operation, manually or by PC, with virtually no maintenance, making it incredibly easy to implement.”

Fujikura Europe is also set to demonstrate its optical fibre recoaters, FSR-06 and FSR-07, perfect for high quality shape of recoating and automated easy operations, as well as the FSM-100P+ of the ARCMaster series, Fujikura Europe’s polarisation maintaining fibre fusion splicer.

“Our laser and splicing technology can make a real impact to applications such as manufacturing and processing, by improving installation times and providing a real cost effective option, without compromising on performance,” said Neil Bessant “We are looking forward to showcasing our world leading technology and the potential it offers to the laser market to LASER World of PHOTONICS visitors.”

Members of the Fujikura team will be at Booth 121, Hall A3 at the Messe München, Munich, to demonstrate the range of products and answer any questions.
