Firecomms to exhibit at PCIM in Nuremberg
Firecomms will exhibit at the 2024 PCIM Europe in Hall 7, Stand #440 at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre from 11th to 13th June.
Combining compound and silicon semiconductor technology with small-scale integration, Firecomms will showcase its complete line of proven plastic optical fibre transceivers and industrial grade interconnects. These products provide high voltage isolation and EMI immunity, making them ideal for high voltage DC drives, robotics, renewable energy, medical diagnostic equipment, diesel and electric traction, industrial power control systems, and other power electronics applications.
Firecomms products on display at PCIM will include:
- RedLink industrial grade plastic optical fibre transceivers (data rates from DC-1/5/10/50/125 MBd)
- SMI transceivers compliant to IEEE1394b POF communication standard
- OptoLock analog & industrial fibre optic transceivers (data rates from DC/5/10/125/250/1250 Mbps) with quick bare POF terminations
- Media converters with POF transceivers for high-bandwidth networks with Ethernet data
- Cables & Plugs include plastic optical fibre cables, LC plugs, and pre-assembled patch cords
Drawing an expected crowd of over 16,550 attendees, PCIM Europe has been the premier international exhibition and conference for power electronics and its applications since 1979. This event serves as a key platform where industry and academic experts converge to unveil and discuss the latest trends and advancements. Spanning the entire value chain from components and drive controls to packaging and intelligent systems, PCIM Europe offers comprehensive insights into the field. Moreover, the exhibition floor hosts more than 500 companies, presenting the newest innovations in power electronic products, components, equipment, software, and services.
“Firecomms looks forward to showcasing our innovative plastic optical fibre solutions to the PCIM audience,” said Massimo Belotti, Vice-President of Global Sales for Firecomms. “Our POF devices are critical to providing robust EMI immunity and signal isolation for today’s high voltage power electronic systems in a way that traditional wiring connections do not.”
The Firecomms exhibit at PCIM Europe 2024 is co-located with European distributor MEV Elektronik Service GMBH, a leading specialist distributor/stocking rep of electronic components, modules, and systems in Central and Eastern Europe. The two companies are located in Hall 7, Stand #440.
