Farnell will showcase the best of industry’s solutions as part of Avnet City at electronica 2024 in Munich (November 12-15).

The company will be showing semiconductors and single board computers and full operational industrial automation solutions.

As part of Farnell’s commitment to its partnership with Raspberry Pi, the distributor of products and technology for electronic and industrial system design, maintenance and repair, will host Eben Upton, Raspberry Pi founder and CEO, in a ‘meet and greet’ session.

Taking place on Farnell’s stand between 11.30am and 1pm on Wednesday 13 November, visitors can seize the opportunity to explore the latest from Raspberry Pi and understand more about the groundbreaking Raspberry Pi 5; the versatile Compute Module 4; and the newly launched Pico 2.

In addition, following its close relationship with Mitsubishi Electric, Farnell will be showcasing a Mitsubishi programmed robotic arm demonstrating the benefits of such machinery in industrial facilities.

Visitors to Farnell’s booth will be able to interact with the robotic arm and explore how it can enhance industrial operations as the shift towards Industry 5.0 progresses.

Furthermore, on-stand demos will include the latest e-Mobility solutions from autonomous vision systems and multi-sensor modules to EV chargers, power converters, advanced lighting solutions, and more from suppliers such as Infineon, STMicroelectronics, ADI, Schneider, and ABB.

Those seeking industrial control and automation solutions will find advanced sensor ICs, industrial connectivity, and motor control solutions. AI-based machine vision processors, PLCs, HMIs, and power conversion systems, plus relays, switches, safety solutions, and essential hardware for streamlined automation and enhanced operational efficiency will all be available to see and discuss from suppliers like Festo, Broadcom, and NXP.

Prototype and design professionals will enjoy peering into the future of innovation on Farnell’s stand, where top-tier prototype and design tools from Arduino can be seen for use fast prototyping and industrial embedded development.

Highly advanced testing and measurement solutions will be on display from Keysight, Tektronix-Keithley, and NI, designed to optimise precision and speed in design processes, while Farnell’s popular, own-brand Multicomp Pro range of test equipment will also feature prominently.

Rebeca Obregon, President, Farnell, said, “At electronica 2024, Farnell will show all the right components necessary for success. We urge visitors to our stand to access our products, knowledge and expertise, assemble those products into projects, and use them to aspire to change the world and enable sustainable growth. It all starts in Hall B5, Stand 103.”
