In 2025, MVTec Software will present itself and its products at embedded world, taking place from 11-13th March, 2025, in Nuremberg.

At its booth 2-658 in hall 2, the company will demonstrate, under the trade fair motto ‘Embedded Vision = YOUR Hardware + OUR Software’, the advantages and added value that machine vision also offers for embedded systems. With a global presence and more than 20 years industry experience, MVTec is recognised as a provider of machine vision software and a major player in the embedded vision segment. The company develops powerful algorithms for manufacturers of embedded devices such as machine vision sensors, intelligent cameras and smart sensors.

Demos at the booth highlight the wide range of applications for machine vision in embedded devices

MVTec's machine vision software products, HALCON and MERLIC, are compatible with all common operating systems, AI accelerators, CPUs, embedded boards and machine vision standards, such as GigE Vision, GenICam and USB3 Vision. The software products also feature innovative technologies for code reading, Deep OCR, deep learning (including Global Context Anomaly Detection), and more. Tested and optimised in countless successful installations, MVTec's software solutions deliver outstanding performance and smooth 24/7 operation. This paves the way for immediate use in almost any embedded application – without the need for customisation and suitable for all industries.

To underline these advantages, MVTec will be presenting two demos at its booth. The first demo will showcase precise defect and contamination detection on the surface of a structured wafer. The second exhibit shows how deep learning applications on an embedded board can be easily accelerated by using different AI accelerators through the MVTec AI² interface.
