The Theorem team will be at VR World (stand C25) in London, UK, on 16th and 17th May 2017 to demonstrate their latest Multi-Device Visualisation Experience Application.

The demonstration will be for:

  • Augmented Reality (AR) - Windows 10 and Android Tablets and Phones
  • Mixed Reality (MR) – Microsoft HoloLens
  • Virtual Reality (VR) - HTC Vive and Oculus Rift

The Multi-Device application is a single application which is built using the Unity graphics engine, producing stunning graphical representations of engineering and manufacturing data, which is a real game changer to the world of traditional CAD graphics and visualisation.

The experience utilises existing CAD and PLM data assets from CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE, CATIA V5, CREO, Inventor, JT, NX, SolidWorks and STEP and can also merge data from other databases such as ERP, MES and CRM, along with proprietary databases, to further add value to the Digital Realities application.

Being Multi-Device, the application allows you to use the same data, in the same visualisation application, on all of the different low cost devices. The application can be downloaded and installed on each device in minutes.

Data only needs to be optimised and prepared for use once using Theorem’s ‘Optimisation and Experience Servers’, which then delivers the same Visualisation Experience across all supported platforms, helping to save money on data preparation, training and support.

By putting the technology in the hands of everybody, these low cost devices are bringing an entirely new dimension to the way you can interact with your engineering and manufacturing data.

A free trial of the Visualisation Experience application is now available to download from the Microsoft App store for the Microsoft HoloLens, Mixed Reality device. The app allows users to visualise and experience engineering and manufacturing design data in a mixed reality environment that combines the ‘real world’ with high quality holographic representations. This will be available to experience at our booth.

Theorem's Sales Director, David Shackleton, will also be taking part in a panel discussion regarding ‘How is Construction going Digital’ in the Innovation Theatre.
