Exhibition explores tools & technologies in embedded systems
Organisers have announced that the Scottish Device Developers' Conference is to take place once again in Uphall, on the 4th June 2015. This is an event for engineers, computer scientists and designers working in the field of intelligent systems and devices. This one-day conference and exhibition will explore the latest tools and technologies available to assist in the development of embedded systems.
“Embedded Systems is a big industry, in which Scotland plays a major role, especially in the Oil & Energy sector," said Richard Blackburn, Conference Manager. "In fact, MPUs are embedded within so many everyday items, such as cars, washing machines, mobile phones, televisions, aeroplanes, trains and almost all intelligent devices. This conference is a chance for embedded systems developers to network, meet industry experts, explore new technologies and learn new skills."
The Device Developers' Conference is free to attend and will include an exhibition of embedded systems development and debug tools, hardware solutions and software products. There will also be two streams of technical presentations from industry experts and a choice of half-day workshops, again presented by industry experts. Lunch and refreshments will also be provided for delegates and exhibitors.
Topics to be covered at this event will include; 'Device to Cloud Connectivity'; 'Safety Critical Software Development'; 'Display and Touch Screen Development'; 'Software Certification' and 'Machine to Machine Communication'. Products being exhibited will include Embedded Linux Solutions, RTOS's, Trace and Debug Tools, Single Board Industrial Computers, Display and Touchscreen Technology, Software Version Control and Software Licencing Solutions.
