Embedded Conference Scandinavia details announced
The organisers of Embedded Conference Scandinavia (ECS) continue the process of developing the event and putting together a world-class conference program. Digitalisation, IoT, System-of-Systems, Cyber-Physical Systems, AI and Machine Learning are some of the focus areas at this year’s event which takes place November 5th to 6th at Kistamässan in Stockholm, Sweden.
Among the speakers already confirmed for the program are Ted Schönbeck from Google, Richard Elberger from Amazon Web Services and Colin Williams from IBM Watson IoT.
“This year we are putting extra effort into the program part of the event,” explained Björn Delin at BraMässor who is one of the organisers of ECS. “We will invite a number of well renowned speakers within selected focus areas. Apart from some keynotes and specially invited speakers a large part of the program will be, as previously, put together from contributions sent in via a Call for Papers system.”
Head of the Conference Committee is Ulf Bodin, Divisional Manager at EISLAB (Embedded Internet Systems Lab), Luleå University of Technology.
Bodin said: “The selection process for the contributions received from the Call for Papers system will be tightened and more will be demanded from the speakers this year. This is to ensure that the presentations we accept are of a high standard and contribute towards a state of the art conference.”
The conference program for ECS 2019 will be published in full in early September. So far ‘Securing IoT everywhere’ by Richard Elberger, Amazon Web Services and ‘AI – from hype to reality’ by Ted Schönbeck, Google, are confirmed presentations.
Presentation contributions are accepted until June 3rd.
