CTX at the embedded world 2024
Embedded systems and industrial computers have one thing in common: The more powerful they are, the more heat they generate. CTX's sophisticated cooling solutions ensure the efficient cooling of these systems.
Interested trade visitors can find out more about the wide range of cooling concepts from the Nettetal-based company in Hall 3A, Stand 334, at the embedded world Exhibition&Conference in the Exhibition Center Nuremberg from 9-11 April.
Since their invention, industrial computers (IPCs) and embedded systems have become increasingly powerful. This is accompanied by an increasing demand for cooling. To ensure flawless operation and long lifespan, CTX offers a variety of innovative cooling concepts for these high-performance systems. The type of cooling solution depends on the level of power loss and the available installation space.
Cooling element for embedded systems
There are no off-the-shelf embedded systems. Every cooling concept must therefore be designed for the respective application. CTX's product range of cooling solutions for embedded systems includes heat spreader solutions with integrated heat pipes, which transfer heat from the hot base plate to cooler fins, as well as heat sinks with copper inlays for direct installation at the hotspot, and soldered, clipped, or screw-on PCB coolers (finger, plug-on, or small coolers) for all common semiconductor packages. Factory-installed fan units and complete sets comprising cooling elements (with/without copper inlay), insulations, mounting bolts, and screws are also available.
Cooling electronics housing
CTX provides customised metal electronic enclosures, including suitable cooling solutions, specifically for IPC. The range includes custom-fit housings in die-cast, profile or stamped and bent technology as well as tailor-made front panels and technical aluminium parts. All housings, front panels and technical parts can undergo individual surface treatments, punching, embossing, and be provided with press-fit bolts or bushings.
