Call for Papers opens for PCIM Europe 2015
Organisers of the PCIM Europe 2015 Conference, 19th to 21st May in Nuremburg, have announced that the Call for Papers is now open. With a deadline set as 15th October 2014, papers exploring power electronics and their applications are welcomed. Proposals are invited for oral or poster presentations at the conference.
PCIM Europe combines a user-oriented international (English language) conference and exhibition in the field of power electronics. The conference covers topics such as recent developments in power semiconductors, passive components, thermal management products, energy storage, sensors and new materials. Accepted papers will be included in the official PCIM proceedings as well as in the scientific databases of Scopus, IEEExplore, Compendex and IET Inspec Direct.
Conference directors will honour one Best Paper Award and three Young Engineer Award (granted to outstanding contributions from authors younger than 35) winners from all submissions. The Best Paper Award winner will receive €1,000 and the chance to participate at PCIM Asia 2016 in Shanghai (with flights and accommodation included). The three Young Engineer Award winners will receive €1,000 each.
