Call for papers 2016 for PCIM

Experts from industry and academia are invited to submit papers on power electronics and their applications for the PCIM Europe 2016 Conference. The submission deadline is on 14th of October, 2015. PCIM Europe is the leading event in the field of power electronics combining an application-oriented international conference and a focused exhibition.

The conference topics covered include recent developments on power semiconductors, passive components, thermal management products, energy storage, sensors and new materials as well as systems. The drives in automation will be a subject of the conference. Proposals are welcome for oral or poster presentations and the conference language is English.

The accepted papers will be included in the official PCIM Europe proceedings as well as in the scientific databases of, IEEExplore, Sopus, Compendex and IET Inspec Direct.

From all paper submissions the conference directors chose one Best Paper Award winner and three Young Engineer Award winners. The winner of the Best Paper Award will receive €1,000 and the chance to participate at the PCIM Asia 2016 Conference in Shanghai, including flights and accommodation. The three Young Engineer Awards, worth 1,000 Euro each, will be granted to outstanding contributions from young authors not older than 35. The prizes will be awarded at the PCIM Europe 2016 Conference Opening Ceremony on 10th May 2016 in Nuremberg.
