At the 9th Developer Forum Battery Technologies, taking place 3rd to 4th November 2015 at Lindner Park-Hotel Hagenbeck in Hamburg, Germany and organised by Batteryuniversity, participants will acquire information about the latest trends and development potential in the area of lithium-ion batteries, possibilities for optimal utilisation of their capacity and determining the 'state of health', strategies for maximising safety with stationary storage systems.

Whether it’s electric bikes, power tools, household appliances, EVs, portable computers or home storage, there is hardly any area of our daily life where lithium-ion batteries are not yet used. Nowadays, anyone who works as a system developer must therefore, in all probability, at least become familiar with the basics of this technology.

The growing importance of innovative storage technologies for various end-uses is also reflected in the constantly increasing number of speakers and participants at the 2016 Developer Forum Battery Technologies in Aschaffenburg, Germany, which will take place for the first time over a period of four days. So far in 2015, more than 600 interested parties have already accepted the invitation of Batteryuniversity for an intensive exchange of expertise between like-minded people.

“The two-day Developer Forum provides two half-day basic training seminars on the topics of 'lithium-ion battery technologies' and 'charging devices' on the first day, 3rd November, and 16 presentations by high-caliber speakers on the second day, 4th November,” said Dr. Jochen Mähliß, head of Batteryuniversity. “With this, we now offer experienced developers and newcomers from high up in the north of Germany, an additional opportunity to locally acquire information about major trends and new developments in the area of battery technologies, with relatively little effort.”

The participation fee per person ‒ including free admission to the accompanying exhibition, breakfast, lunch and coffee buffets, after-show snack and all forum documentation ‒ for the two-day Developer Forum Battery Technologies is €550 plus 19% MwSt (Mehrwertsteuer - German Value Added Tax). The participation fee per person for the two half-day basic training seminars on the first day (3rd November) is €295 plus 19% MwSt. and for the Expert Forum on the second day (4th November) is €350 plus 19% MwSt.
