Electronics Manufacturing Services Providers, AWS Electronics, will be showcasing its capabilities at the bi-annual Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) show on Stand S2-289, from 12th-15th September 2017, at the ExCel Centre in London. In 2015, this industry leading event attracted over 36,800 VIPs and visitors, and is set to be even larger this year, bringing the entire supply chain together ‘on an unrivalled scale’.

AWS has over 18 years’ experience in the defence, security and aerospace sectors, underpinned by the achievement of approvals such as AS9100 and NADCAP, along with several customer awards. Skilled in complex box builds, PCBAs and cables to military standards, AWS manufacture a wide range of products including power and control systems, radar systems and more.

Most recently, AWS Fast Track has worked alongside a UK defence company in producing PCBAs for prototype builds of Anti-UAV Systems and Aircraft Communication Equipment. With operational prototype units now in the field, preparation for production is likely to take place in the coming months. In addition, AWS has recently completed an urgent order for a large defence customer in relation to their police helicopter communication equipment. The project consisted of 14 different unit assemblies, 100+ sub unit assemblies, 100+ cable assemblies and 40+ PCBAs, which AWS successfully completed within the required timeframe.

Paul Deehan, CEO, commented: “We are delighted to be showcasing on our stand again at DSEI. This has always been a very good exhibition event for us and we look forward to seeing many of our customers at the show as well as discussing projects and opportunities with new entities.”

AWS are accomplished in providing whole-life support services to customers looking for high reliability and leading edge electronics technology, and will be demonstrating this at the DSEI show.
