Apacer is set to showcase its latest industrial storage solutions at electronica 2024, from 12-15 November in Munich, Germany.

These cutting-edge products are tailored to meet the increasing demand for dependable data storage in sectors such as automotive and automation.

Among the highlights is the PV180-μSSD, which combines the benefits of NAND-based storage with a high-speed PCIe Gen4 x4 interface, all within an embedded BGA form factor the size of an IC chip. Compliant with JEDEC PCIe M.2 1620 standards, it delivers impressive read speeds of up to 3,745MB/sec and write speeds of up to 3,015MB/sec. The use of carefully selected industrial-grade ICs ensures stability in extreme temperature environments.

Apacer’s range of compact eMMCs caters to embedded systems, offering capacities from 8GB to 128GB, with the option of wide temperature range support, providing designers with flexibility across various devices, from Edge computing to Cloud infrastructure.

For data centres and Edge servers, the Enterprise SSD series delivers high capacities, exceptional performance, and reliability, along with low latency. With features like DWPD>1 (Drive Writes per Day), data encryption, and power-fail protection, these SSDs enhance operational efficiency. Available in SATA and PCIe interfaces, they come in various form factors, including 2.5", U.3, M.2 2280, M.2 22110, and E1.S, with capacities ranging from 240GB to 30TB.

Apacer is also proud to introduce the world’s first entirely lead-free memory modules, in compliance with RoHS 7(c)-V of the EU RoHS Directive. These DDR5 4800 and 5600 series modules feature fully lead-free resistor elements, ensuring continued compliance when the current lead exemptions expire on 21st July 2026.

For enhanced durability, Apacer has developed rugged retention straps to protect DRAM modules from shock and vibration. With three connection points, these straps offer greater stability than traditional dual-connection-point clips and can endure temperatures as high as 200°C, making them compatible with all modern motherboards.

Apacer’s CorePower technology ensures data integrity and stability during unexpected power failures. Now incorporated into the SLC-liteX SSD series, this technology offers endurance of up to 100,000 P/E cycles. It is also featured in the BiCS5 3D TLC SSD series, providing enhanced reliability for demanding applications.
