The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) has announced the first in what will be an all-star series of keynotes at CES 2016: Brian Krzanich, CEO, Intel, will deliver a preshow keynote address on 5th January. Owned and produced by CEA, CES is the world's gathering place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technologies, and will run from 6th to 9th January in Las Vegas.

At the 2015 CES, Krzanich shared his vision for the next 20 years of computing and how it will evolve. This coming year, Krzanich will focus on dramatic new ways the consumer world is being reshaped by the expanding boundaries of technology and the experiences enabled by this transformation.

"We couldn't be more excited to welcome Brian Krzanich to the CES keynote stage once again. Intel's innovations, which power tablets, wearables, PCs, smart cars, homes, appliances, cloud computing and so much more are serving as the foundation for the burgeoning IoT," said Gary Shapiro, President and CEO, CEA. "After inspiring keynote addresses at CES in 2014 and 2015, we broke precedent and asked him to return for a third year to share his vision on how Intel continues to shape the future. With the IoT standing as a major theme of our upcoming show, Brian's comments will be particularly timely, insightful and instructive."

Brian Krzanich has served as chief executive officer and as a member of Intel's board of directors since 16th May, 2013. Krzanich progressed through a series of technical and leadership roles at Intel, most recently serving as COO.
