ADLINK Technology has announced that it will be exhibiting in hall 1, booth 540 at embedded world 2016, 23rd to 25th February 2016. The company will display the following innovative highlights from all product sectors at embedded world 2016:

COM Express- and motherboard highlights featuring 6th gen Intel Core processors:

ADLINK’s COM Express module offerings include the cExpress-SL and and Express-SL in PICMG COM.0 Type 6 Compact and Basic Size form factors, respectively. Both module sizes are available with 6th gen Intel Core i7, i5 or i3 processors and accompanying Intel QM170 and HM170 Chipsets. These COMs also provide support for three independent UHD/4K displays and are well-suited for applications in automation, medical and infotainment. Extended operating temperature range is optionally available for transportation and defence applications.

Also based on 6th gen Intel Core processors, the corresponding Mini-ITX embedded motherboard AmITX-SL will be introduced with live demos. In addition, the latest high performance fanless embedded computers MVP-6000, MXC-6400 and MXE-5500 will be on display.

Intelligent IoT and the flexible platform SEMA-Cloud 2.0:

The SEMA Cloud is a cloud server architecture hosting the SEMA Cloud IoT Service. It can be managed and administered from the web-based SEMA Cloud Management Portal. The cloud solution includes gateway software with an IoT stack on top of intelligent SEMA middleware, enabling embedded devices to connect securely to the cloud using state-of-the-art encryption technologies without additional design requirements. SEMA Cloud is a flexible platform that is application-ready or open for further development of customer-specific applications.

Moreover, ADLINK’s Intelligent IoT Solutions like the cloud based Machine Failure Prediction will be running as live application: a huge number of different sensors will collect data and transmit the information in real time via ADLINK’s IoT Gateway into the cloud. By remote monitoring potential problems can be identified in advance and preventive action may be taken to avoid or minimise down time.  The introduction of the MCS-2080 Media Cloud Server will complete the company’s cloud based computing topics.

Smart Touch Computers (STCs) and industrial tablets:

The STCs support a range of CPU architectures (x86 & ARM) and feature rugged designs with various touch options and optional flexible I/O expansions.

ADLINK’s Mobile Industrial Tablets stand out of the crowd due to the choice of two operating systems (Windows & Android), the rugged design (IP65 rated and 1.2m drop resistance, with optional protective rubber housing) and the support for multiple wireless connection standards (WLAN/WPAN/WWAN).
