A real Industry 4.0 solution at productronica
Aegis will unveil the latest version of their market leading manufacturing operations management software, FactoryLogix at productronica booth A3.210 from 10th to 13th November in Munich, Germany. The new release embraces the principles of Industry 4.0 and Aegis has chosen productronica as the first public demonstration.
The new version incorporates an entirely re-designed Logistics module based on the same technology framework as the NPI, Production and Analytics modules found in FactoryLogix, replacing the solution’s previous integration with the diplan software suite.
Daniel P. Walls, Europe Regional Director, Aegis, said: “We really look forward to demonstrating these powerful features to the market in Munich. They bring together the combined knowledge and experience of Aegis and diplan and really deliver on much of the value promised by Industry 4.0. Two years ago at productronica, Industry 4.0 was concepts, ideas and marketing talk. Now we think it’s time to deliver and we believe that this version of the software does that and more.”
This year Aegis’ booth will feature a simulated manufacturing environment, taking visitors through the user experience in each area of the factory, from engineering, to the stockroom, onto the production floor and into the manager’s office. Dr. Friedrich W. Nolting, Aegis Germany, added: “This year’s stand brings together the added value resulting from Aegis’s acquisition of diplan, the FactoryLogix software solution and the application of Industry 4.0 principles, all demonstrated with a visual and interactive way.”
