Alpha Micro Components is preparing a wide range of products to show at Motiv8’s free RF & Wireless Design Forum (June 24). Included are the high performance, low power ISM RF SoCs from AXSEM, Cellular  and GNSS positioning receiver modules from u-blox, very low power embedded WiFi solutions from GainSpan and ISM solutions from LPRS.

Design Automation Conference debutant Allegro DVT plans to perform a live demonstration of its HEVC/H.265 encoder IP core. The demonstration will be conducted on a prototyping platform. High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC), alias H.265, is the next generation video standard. It brings 50% bitrate savings compared to equivalent H.264/AVC encodings.

At Sensor & Test 2014, Allegro MicroSystems has revealed that it will exhibit new products in its family of Hall-effect sensor ICs targeted at current and position sensing in automotive and industrial applications.
