eInfochips, an Arrow Electronics company, has announced it has been recognised by Information Services Group (ISG), a leading global technology research and advisory firm, with two 2022 ISG Digital Case Study Awards.

The awards are presented to select IT and business services providers for best-in-class digital transformation work with their enterprise clients.

eInfochips' engagement with Echonous to develop an edge AI powered IoT platform for its Kosmos product was selected as a standout in the "North America" and "Healthcare" categories. Developed by US-based medical devices company Echonous, Kosmos is a portable, AI guided ultrasound scanner for high-resolution imaging of the heart, lungs, and abdomen.

eInfochips' IoT solution helped EchoNous position itself for global market expansion, with an improved capability for Kosmos to grow its customer base in new geographies. Besides, Echonous was also able to reduce cloud expenses, improve new client onboarding and offer a subscription-based business model.

The second standout, in the "UK, Ireland, and Scandinavia" and "Energy & Utilities" categories, was given to eInfochips' collaboration with Creative EC, a UK-based IoT solution aggregator. eInfochips partnered with Creative EC to create an end-to-end solution (referred to as Waterfall - Beyond Smart) comprising a smart water metering device and an Azure based IoT, Cloud & Mobile platform.

The solution helped Creative EC accelerate its time to market to address a growing market opportunity for smart meters in the UK. The solution has also been helpful in reducing per capita water consumption which is a key focus for water utility companies globally as well as stopping leaks, based on sensors and analytical models that are good at identifying otherwise "invisible" leaks.

"We are delighted to win the ISG Digital Case Study award, second year in a row. This demonstrates our ability to consistently solve complex business problems with our strong digital engineering credentials," said Dharam Sheoran, Chief Customer Officer for eInfochips.

The ISG Digital Case Study Awards evaluate the objectives, solutions, and outcomes achieved through digital transformation projects. Technology and service providers worldwide submit case studies, which are independently validated by the enterprise client and reviewed by an expert ISG digital research review committee. Selections are based on a multi-dimensional assessment of the tangible impact of digital transformation on the client's business and the uniqueness of the provider's solution.

The standout case studies were chosen from a record number of provider submissions - more than 320, up 30% from 2021. The majority of digital transformation initiatives showcased in the submissions were focused on technology modernisation programs aimed at improving customer and user experience and driving revenue growth.

"The accelerated adoption of digital technologies and business models was strongly evident in the case studies we received," said Paul Reynolds, ISG partner and Chief Research Officer. "Digital has gone mainstream for most businesses, especially in the area of customer and employee experience, so the emphasis is shifting toward modernising the back office - overcoming the complexity of legacy environments to deliver better CX, deeper analytics and greater efficiency."

ISG Digital Case Study Awards research and the related awards program help inform the firm's digital advisory work with enterprise clients.
