CircuitByte receives distribution rights for the Valor product family
CircuitByte and Siemens Digital Industry Software have agreed on an extension of the Smart Expert partnership for the Scandinavian region, which has been in place since 2020.
The cooperation includes the distribution rights for the entire Valor product range.
The extension of the Smart Expert partnership to the Scandinavian region is an important step for CircuitByte, which raises the successful partnership to a new international level.
"As a Smart Expert Partner, we had already reached the highest possible level of sales cooperation with Siemens in the Germany region. From now on, we are pleased to be able to distribute the Valor product board paired with the BOM Connector Enterprise developed by us as an end-to-end Supply Chain 4.0 solution in Scandinavia," says Kevin Decker-Weiss, Sales Director of CircuitByte.
The Valor Process Preparation Tool allows the central preparation of data for high-mix, high-value or low-, mid-, large-volume production programmemes and therefore forms an optimal ‘bridge’ between the areas of development and production.
In the process, a ‘digital twin’ accelerates all subsequent processes and also forms the basis for the modern strategy of batch size 1. "The digitalisation of workflows, processes and machine times allows targeted cost calculation in advance and is therefore a ‘must’ for every EMS manufacturer," Decker-Weiss emphasises.
BOM Connector Enterprise, on the other hand, handles the often time-consuming and at the same time extremely diverse range of procurement tasks, whereby the programme can also be integrated into an existing MES system.
The software covers the material and process cost calculation of all manufacturing areas including SMT and THT assembly, test field and other processes. In addition, the system allows quick and easy access from different locations.
Furthermore, the ‘Production Cost Calculators’ (PCC) module can be used to create fully comprehensive cost estimates, taking into account all location-, personnel- and machine-related factors.
The BOM Connector Enterprise can import and standardise bills of materials in a wide variety of formats, query internal and external sources of supply throughout the market within a very short time, and develop variants and revisions of workflow management processes.
In addition, the tool can access databases to retrieve comprehensive data on the Obsolescence, SCIP, RoHS and REACH directives, for example.
The Valor product range will be gradually rolled out by our sales team in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and the Baltic States in Q2 2022. Customers will receive an end-to-end Supply Chain 4.0 solution and will also benefit from optimal consulting from us," adds Decker-Weiss.
