The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. All organisations operating in the US are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.
A member of the Titanium Cloud product portfolio, Titanium Control enables critical infrastructure companies to cost-effectively evolve aging legacy control systems not previously designed to support the Internet of Things.
It is a commercially deployable on-premise cloud infrastructure platform that virtualises traditional physical subsystems using a platform based on open standards. It delivers the high performance, high availability, flexibility, security and low latency needed to reduce both capital and operating expenses, while also minimising unscheduled down-time for industrial applications and control services at any scale.
Unlike enterprise IT virtualisation platforms, it provides high reliability for applications and services deployed at the network edge, for example in fog deployments.
More than 3,600 nominations from organisations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Startup of the Year, Executive of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, and Marketing Campaign of the Year, among others. More than 190 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners.
“Each year the judges find the quality and variety of the nominations to be greater than the year before. The 2017 competition was intense and every organisation that has won should be proud,” said Michael Gallagher, President and Founder of the Stevie Awards.
“We are delighted that the Titanium Control platform has been recognised for a prestigious Bronze Stevie Award,” said Brenda Herold, General Manager, Software-Defined Infrastructure Business Unit, Wind River. “Titanium Control uniquely addresses critical business and technical challenges for companies looking to deploy next-generation open, secure control systems. It is in active trials with customers worldwide in industries ranging from manufacturing to energy to healthcare.”
