BigChange selects Zebra Technologies to support its business transformation
Zebra Technologies has announced its collaboration with BigChange. This UK-based software company specialising in field service management is integrating Zebra’s rugged devices into its service offerings as a strategic move to foster growth.
Established in 2013, BigChange supports approximately 100,000 users, among which 40,000 are field operatives, spread across over 2,000 companies within the UK. BigChange changes the traditional workflow management for mobile workforces with its comprehensive job management platform, rendering outdated methods like consumer-grade mobile phones, bulky paper diaries, and disorganised customer service tactics obsolete for its clientele.
Through a partnership with Peak Technologies, a Zebra Premier Solutions Partner, BigChange now equips numerous enterprises with Zebra’s durable ET45 tablets and TC27 handheld mobile devices. These devices are designed for professionals in field operations, construction, utilities, and maintenance who require dependable tools for communication, data capture, sharing, and access in challenging work conditions.

The Zebra ET45 tablet and TC27 handheld devices has features such as extended battery life for continuous shifts, superior scanning capabilities, high-definition cameras, and the latest connectivity options including Wi-Fi 6, 5G, Bluetooth, and GPS. These gadgets are built to endure harsh conditions with their rugged design, waterproof and dustproof sealing, Corning Gorilla Glass protection, and resilience to extreme temperatures and moisture.
BigChange's platform offers a suite of features including CRM, job scheduling, financial management, vehicle tracking, a mobile app, and business intelligence tools. With Zebra rugged devices, frontline workers can effortlessly merge digital and physical workflows, enhancing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Peak Technologies plays a crucial role in this transformation by offering managed services such as five-year software support encompassing security and OS updates, device onboarding, mobile device management, and analytical reporting. Furthermore, BigChange has invested in Zebra services to secure additional technical support necessary for their progressive expansion.
