Welcome to the shortlist announcement page! Here you will find the amazing, shortlisted products for the most rigorous and transparent award in the industry.

Exhibitors at electronica have been approached to submit their most innovative and show-stopping products. All entries have been independently scored after being discussed in-depth by our panel. The judging panel, selected by Editors at Electronic Specifier, featured specially curated industry thought-leaders and electronics specialists.

Each entry has been placed in one of the following categories:

The Electronics Excellence Award ceremony will take place at electronica, on 14th November at 12.50pm on the Visionary Stage in Hall B4. You’re all welcome to come and see which product will win!

Traco Power – TCI series

TRACO Electronic AG’s TCI series, which includes the TCI 130, TCI 240, and TCI 500(U), is a high-performance range of conduction-cooled AC/DC encased power supplies designed to deliver between 130 and 500 watts of output power, featuring a 4250 VAC reinforced isolation system. Nordic Semiconductor – nPM1300 Power Management IC

Nordic’s multi-function nPM1300 Power Management IC gives developers a simple yet effective way to add a compact, highly optimised power management solution to their low-power products. The nPM1300 is the first-ever PMIC to fully integrate every system management feature needed, eliminating the need to design integral system management functions – with multiple discrete components – from scratch. The nPM1300 eliminates the complexity of PMIC evaluation and development with an associated Evaluation Kit (nPM1300 EK).

Geehy Semiconductor – G32R5 series

The G32R5 series real-time control MCU stands as the industry's first dual-core MCU/DSP product based on the Cortex-M52 processor architecture. Utilising advanced 40nm eFlash technology and operating at 250MHz, it supports Arm Helium vector extension technology. Additionally, the MCU integrates Geehy's proprietary Zidian math acceleration unit, which enhances system sampling and control accuracy while minimising latency.

onsemi – PowerTrench T10 MOSFETs

The PowerTrench T10 MOSFET family from onsemi is engineered to handle high currents that are crucial for DC/DC power conversion stages. The two devices in the family, NTMFWS1D5N08X (80V, 1.43mΩ, 5 x 6mm SO8-FL package) and NTTFSSCH1D3N04XL (40V, 1.3mΩ, 3.3 x 3.3mm source down dual cool package), are best in class of figure of merit (FOM) for power supply unit (PSU) and intermediate bus converter (IBC) in AI data centre applications. PowerTrench T10 MOSFETs offer increased power density and superior thermal performance in a compact footprint.

Infineon – IGC033S10S1

The IGC033S10S1 is a 100V normally-off e-mode power transistor housed in a small PQFN 3x5 package, enabling high power density designs. Thanks to its low on-state resistance, it is the ideal choice for reliable performance in demanding high-voltage and high-current applications.

Analog Devices – ADMT4000

The ADMT4000 is the world’s first single chip Multiturn position sensor and operates without power or contact. There are many single-turn 360° absolute position sensors on the market today, but the ADMT4000 is the first single chip sensor brought to market with an absolute measurement range of > 360°.

Keysight – InfiniiVision HD3 Series Oscilloscopes

The InfiniiVision HD3 Series Oscilloscopes are compact 2 and 4-channel oscilloscopes with bandwidths ranging from 200MHz to 1GHz. The HD3 oscilloscopes come with both Keysight's custom ASIC, and custom14-bit ADC. Together with 50 µVRMS low noise floor, the HD3 Series enables users to achieve 4x the vertical resolution of a 12-bit ADC scope and half the noise floor of comparable oscilloscopes today. Custom Keysight components optimised for oscilloscope measurements enable the industry's only uncompromised waveform update rate of 1.3 million waveforms per second.

Allegro Microsystems – CT455

The CT455 is a high bandwidth and low noise integrated contactless current sensor that uses Allegro MicroSystems’ patented XtremeSense TMR technology to enable high accuracy current measurements for many consumer, enterprise, and industrial applications. It supports two standard field ranges where the CT455 senses and translates the magnetic field into a linear analog output voltage.

Dukosi – Contactless Cell Monitoring System

Dukosi’s Contactless Cell Monitoring System enables increased performance, reliability, scalability and sustainability throughout the battery value chain. The DKCMS consists of DK8102 Cell Monitors, a DK8202 System Hub, the Dukosi API and C-SynQÂ. The Cell Monitors make accurate, synchronous, on-cell measurements, process the data, and send it to the BMS Host via the System Hub.

GRAS Sound & Vibration – Measurement microphones

These two new miniature microphones are designed for final tests in the production line of audio devices. Both microphones are part of the GRAS microphone family equipped with the GRAS EQset technology, launched in January 2023. This revolutionary technology uses a built-in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) module to flatten the frequency response of the microphone and adjust its gain.

Pico Technology – PicoScope 3000E series

PicoScope 3000E series are the world's first PC-based 5GS/s oscilloscopes. Four models, with 350 and 500MHz bandwidth respectively and MSO versions, they have a 5GS/s sampling rate and 10 bits resolution (up to 14 bits with Enhanced Resolution). They set the standard for next generation waveform measurement and analysis with power, performance, and portability in the field of test and measurement equipment.

SiTime – Chorus

Chorus is SiTime's new, MEMS-based clock-system-on-a-chip (ClkSoC) clock generator family, designed to provide the timing heartbeat for AI data centre and communication infrastructure applications. The Chorus family, launched in April 2024, is a new generation of MEMS-based clock generators that enable smarter, faster, and better system designs by eliminating the design complexities and reducing performance and reliability issues of conventional clock + quartz oscillator solutions.

Microchip – dsPIC DSC-Based Integrated Motor Drivers

To implement efficient, real-time embedded motor control systems in space-constrained applications, Microchip Technology has launched a new family of dsPIC Digital Signal Controller (DSC)-based integrated motor drivers. These devices incorporate a dsPIC33 digital signal controller (DSC), a three-phase MOSFET gate driver and optional LIN or CAN FD transceiver into one package. A significant benefit of this integration is reduction in component count of the motor control system design, smaller printed circuit board (PCB) dimensions and reduced complexity.
