A key highlight of the event was Managing Director Gareth Phillips receiving the prestigious SC21 Silver Award from Magnus Dimming, Group Director and Global Category Director of Raw Material at BAE. This marks the sixth consecutive year that the UK-based specialist manufacturer of RF, waterproof, and cryogenic connectors and cable harness assemblies has achieved the SC21 Silver Performance Standard Award, underscoring Intelliconnect’s relentless commitment to quality and innovation.

Since its inception, the SC21 programme has seen over 880 companies sign up to its principles, demonstrating continuous performance improvement. Launched 18 years ago, SC21 has grown into one of the largest Supply Chain Improvement programmes in the UK Aerospace and Defence sector. Endorsed by all major UK Aerospace and Defence companies, it is managed by ADS at both national and international levels, working with SC21 participants, prime contractors, regional associations, strategic partners, accredited practitioners, training partners, providers, assessors, and ambassadors. Recognition can only be achieved after proving all SC21 required framework elements meet the criteria for delivery, quality, sustainable improvement, and associated improvement frameworks including business and manufacturing excellence.
