Pico Technology, based in St Neots, UK are celebrating being named as winners of a Queen’s Award for Enterprise, the UK’s highest accolade for business success.

Dame Esther Rantzen has sung the praises of a technology company for the ‘amazing work’ it does to help tens of thousands of older people across the UK access life changing daily contact after the company was honoured with a “Queen’s Award For Enterprise” for Innovation.

Richardson Electronics, announced it received a Gold Tier Award for exceptional performance and contributions to supply chain success for BAE Systems, Inc.’s Electronic Systems sector. 

Rutronik Elektronische Bauelmente GmbH impresses with its performance and receives the Distributor of the Year Award 2021 from the long-standing partner knitter-switch. The family-owned company generated the highest sales growth in the areas of switches and input systems.

ioTech has won its third award since its commercial launch at the end of 2021. The latest accolade is the LOPEC Start-up Forum Award 2022 for Most Impactful Technology/Product. It joins the productronica innovation award 2021 and productronica fast forward award 2021, powered by Elektor, won last November.

In cooperation with InnoElectro, IPC hosted its Hand Soldering Competition (HSC), on March 29-31. Skilled competitors demonstrated their expertise in hand soldering printed circuit boards while competing for cash prizes.
