Vector Informatik has announced that it is expanding its executive board effective January 1st, 2021. Dr Stefan Krauß (51), who has been with the company for 19 years now, is joining the board of managing directors as its third member. With this step, Vector is taking account of the challenges of the company’s ongoing growth.

Dr Stefan Krauß started at Vector in 2002 in the area of software development. Here, the computer scientist – who holds a doctorate in the field of software engineering from the University of Stuttgart – worked on designing the new test features of the Vector tools at that time. He headed the development of VT System, the modular HIL system, making it ready for the market. In 2013, Dr. Stefan Krauß succeeded Thomas Riegraf as head of the product line Networks and Distributed Systems, following Thomas Riegraf’s appointment to the board of managing directors.

“I am very pleased to be able to take on this position of responsibility here at Vector and to complement the two other current managing directors. It is an exciting challenge to expand our product portfolio for the support of software developers in the established markets as well as in new segments,” said Dr Krauß.

With this appointment, the Vector executive board consists of Dr Thomas Beck, Dr Stefan Krauß and Thomas Riegraf. This way Vector continues to build upon the success of long-standing continuity in the management.
