TriLite appoints head of Product Marketing
TriLite, who claim to be developer of the world's smallest projection display, has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Christian Feierl as head of product marketing.
Feierl joins Trilite from ams Osram, where he spent more than a decade in various marketing positions. In his latest role, as Segment Head Audio, he and his teams empowered some of the world’s best noise cancelling headphones and earbuds.
Feierl will use this proven track record to shape the augmented reality (AR) accessories market – which has many similarities to wireless earbuds – and help Trilite grow its position in this sector. In particular, he will lead the building of an ecosystem around Trilite’s display solutions, enabling customers to develop the world’s smallest and lightest AR glasses.
Peter Weigand, CEO at Trilite, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Christian to our innovative team. This is an important next step in the growth story of Trilite.
Christian Feierl said: “I am very much looking forward to being at the forefront of enabling great new experiences through Trilite’s projection displays, which can truly add value to our everyday lives.”
TriLite's ultra-compact projection displays are ideal for consumer AR and mixed reality (MR) applications, enabling AR/MR glasses to finally overcome the bulkiness and weight that has so far prevented their mass market adoption.
Feierl joined the Trilite team in October, and will be based in Vienna, Austria.
