New management team for Blackmoon
With over two decades of industry expertise, Blackmoon Lighting, headquartered in Midlothian, has broadened its horizons by appointing three new directors following the retirement of its founder, Kenny Morrison.
Established in 2004, Blackmoon specialises in conceptual designs, lighting modelling, and the provision of energy-efficient, sustainable lighting solutions for clients across various sectors including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, industrial, and leisure.
Matthew Wright, a seasoned executive in the construction industry, assumes the role of Managing Director, supported by Ewan Arthur as Sales Director and Marc Faughnan as Operations Director.
Wright said: “I'm excited about the journey ahead and confident that, together with lighting market experts Ewan and Marc, we will create the next chapter of success for Blackmoon and look forward to this exciting adventure as we illuminate the path to a brighter future.”
Ewan Arthur's extensive experience in the lighting industry, including tenure at the global brand Zumtobel, has equipped him with profound knowledge and insights into the lighting market.
Arthur said:“We have big ambitions for the business and have already rebranded with a new website to follow shortly. We are planning also to expand our product offering while upgrading our showroom to better display our extensive product range.
“The lighting landscape has undergone significant transformations over the past two decades, and we believe our fresh, dynamic approach will secure us a leading position at the vanguard of technological and design innovation.”
With a workforce of 12, Blackmoon Lighting undertakes installations across the UK. The company also possesses the capability to design and fabricate bespoke luminaires and systems tailored for both decorative and commercial applications.
