MicroCare welcomes Lu Anne Green as new COO

Green's professional journey is marked by significant positions such as Chief Operating Officer at ELG Alloys, Principal at a Private Wholesale Food Distributor, and Senior Vice President of Global Operations at ICU Medical. Her expertise encompasses LEAN, Six Sigma, quality control, systems integration, profit & loss management, supply chain optimization, contract manufacturing, inventory reduction, global sourcing, logistics, and managing operations across multiple sites. Academically, Green holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Western New England University.

In her role as COO at MicroCare, Green is set to play an integral part in the company's mission for manufacturing excellence and operational efficiency. She will oversee the manufacturing operations across the company's locations in Connecticut, focusing on balancing customer, employee, and manufacturing needs. Green's experience in improving operational processes, fostering strong customer and vendor relations, and managing health, safety, and environmental risks will be key in her new position.

As COO, Green will work closely with the executive team to enhance organizational capabilities, aligning them with MicroCare's strategic goals.
