Maria Wright gets recognition for 20 years at Intelliconnect
At Intelliconnect, customer service is a cornerstone of its culture. A vital contributor to this ethos is Maria Wright, the first employee hired by Founder Roy Phillips.
Throughout her 20-year tenure with Intelliconnect, Maria has been an integral part of the team, serving as a Sales Administrator. Her responsibilities have encompassed costing, quoting, customer follow-ups, and support for the sales team.
In honour of her two decades of dedicated service, Gareth Phillips, Managing Director of Intelliconnect, recently presented Maria with a special Italian designer watch, as a token of appreciation for her hard work and commitment. Phillips remarks: "I was incredibly proud to present Maria with her 20th-anniversary gift. Being Italian, we chose an Italian designer watch to mark the occasion. Maria, Roy Phillips's first hire for Intelliconnect Group, has been a steadfast presence for 20 years. The celebration was a joyous one, reflecting our admiration and affection for Maria. In my four and a half years working with her, I've seen her be a cornerstone in our sales office, earning the affection of everyone in the business. Her charm and her ability to connect with customers are unparalleled. She is universally admired by customers, partners, suppliers, and colleagues alike.”
The company's recent foray into the cryogenic cable assembly market with its CryoCoax brand caters to the burgeoning sectors of quantum computing, medical research, test and measurement, and emerging low-temperature computing markets. Intelliconnect’s cable division specialises in manufacturing high-quality, high-frequency microwave cables. These include triaxial assemblies, semi-rigid, semi-flexible, and cryogenic cables, as well as standard RG/LMR type products, with options for waterproofing to IP68 and features like phase matching and ruggedised assemblies for harsh environments.
