Electrocomponents' Jordan Barry takes top HR role
Jordan Barry has been appointed as Electrocomponents’ new Chief People and Culture Officer, reporting into CEO Lindsley Ruth.
Barry will play a fundamental role in developing a first-class talent and leadership experience, alongside an organisational culture that excites and empowers its people.
An award-winning HR executive, Jordan started his career at Shell in a variety of international HR positions before moving into various C-suite roles at organisations such as Tesco Bank and Money Mart Financial Services.
His most recent position was as Chief People Officer for the Motor Insurers’ Bureau. Jordan has a strong track record in supporting boards and CEOs to develop high-performing executive committees that transform organisational performance.
He is a qualified executive coach and a board trustee for the Proud Trust supporting LGBTQ+ youth in the North West of England. “Electrocomponents is a global organisation with huge ambition, and I am thrilled to be joining at such an exciting stage in the company’s transformational journey,” commented Jordan Barry. “Working with the Senior Management Team, my aim is to make the culture at Electrocomponents our greatest differentiator, where our people can be themselves and inspire a more sustainable world.”
