A.R.T. adds another Certified IPC Trainer to its team
Advanced Rework Technology (A.R.T.) has bolstered its electronics manufacturing training expertise with new hire, Trevor Jones, an industry veteran and Certified IPC Trainer.
Alongside recent additional investments in its training facilities, this increases capacity at the company to ensure it can service growing customer demand.
Jones brings more than two decades of industry experience in electronics manufacturing, test and quality assurance, with expertise in repair and rework, allied to almost 10 years as a trainer – including IPC-Certification. Already holding a range of qualifications in both engineering and training, since joining A.R.T., he has added certification to J-STD-001 and IPC-A-600, both at CIT (Certified IPC Trainer) level – and is also currently working towards his Master Trainer status. Jones recently put these skills into action as a Judge in IPC UK Hand Soldering Competition at Southern Manufacturing & Electronics. A committed and long-standing volunteer in his local Suffolk community, Trevor also helps encourage people from all backgrounds to make a positive change and play an active role in local projects and initiatives.
Commented Debbie McDade, Managing Director at A.R.T.: “We’re thrilled to welcome Trevor to our ever-expanding team at Advanced Rework Technology. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to A.R.T. after many years working – and training others – in the electronics manufacturing industry. After training Trevor to many IPC programmes at A.R.T. over the years, we are confident he will prove a valuable addition to our talented training team.”
