XMOS has announced it has appointed Regulus Technologies as a sales representative and distributor in Taiwan. XMOS selected Regulus for its extensive customer list and its enthusiasm for bringing XMOS technology to Taiwanese designers and engineers.
Gary Shih, President of Regulus commented, XMOS' Software Defined Silicon not only greatly shortens the process of design idea to realization, it also increases flexibility of design maintenance and revision. We believe it will increase the efficiency of design cycles among Taiwan's industries and bring Taiwan's engineering to the upper level. We are very pleased to be XMOS’ distributor and we look forward to a successful long term partnership.

We have seen some of XMOS’ first successes in Taiwan, resulting from the ability of Taiwanese developers to quickly evaluate and adopt innovative technologies that will give them a competitive edge,” said William Wong, Asia & Japan Sales Director for XMOS. “Regulus will be a key partner in helping XMOS bring its programmable technology to this demanding market.”

XMOS programmable chips fit into a wide range of applications including audio (Ethernet AVB, USB Audio, fixed-point filtering), display control (LED tiles, backlighting), and industrial automation (factory networking, motor control, event management).
