Virtual tour of the ISS
ESA astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti has been cataloguing her home of six months, the International Space Station, to create 360° panoramic images users can rotate and explore. Each section of the Space Station required around 14 fisheye photos stitched together. This has created a virtual tour, allowing the public to view the space laboratory.
Areas of interest can be clicked on for more information in another browser window. The 75 cubic metre space contains a large amount of research equipment and is the ESA’s largest contribution to the mission.
