Hosting the live webinar, entitled; ‘Ultraviolet (UV) Resistance for Plastics’, RTP Company will go live on 11th April at 11am. This webinar is packed with information about thermoplastic compounds that can help protect applications from damaging UV light, thereby increasing the longevity and maintaining the desired aesthetics of the part.

“Without UV resistant additives, thermoplastics can change in appearance and structure when exposed to ultraviolet light, causing brittleness, cracks, color shifts, or warping over time,” explained Tim Duncan, RTP Company Global Color Technology Manager. “RTP Company offers a number of solutions to protect applications against harmful UV light.”

During the 40-minute webinar, Duncan, along with RTP Company Colour Engineer Anna Kreofsky, will cover the science behind UV resistance for thermoplastic compounds and the importance of resin selection in maintaining UV resistance, as well as test methods and case studies. A short question and answer session will immediately follow the presentation.
