Arrow Electronics has announced two UK seminars that will give customers the opportunity to learn more about ultra-low-power microcontrollers and low-power RF technologies from Texas Instruments. All attendees at the seminars in Leicester and Reading will get to take away a free Texas Instruments development kit.
The seminars will take place at Arrow’s Midland Regional Business Centre (RBC) in Leicester on 22nd April, and the company’s Reading RBC on 24th April. Both sessions will provide attendees with comprehensive information on the Texas Instruments MSP430 16-bit, ultra-low-power microcontrollers and allow them to learn how to use the associated development tools. The RF element of the seminar will look at solutions for 2.4GHz, sub-1GHz and ZigBee applications. Field application engineers (FAEs) will be on hand to answer all technical queries.

Attendees have the opportunity to take away a free Texas Instruments ez430-RF2500 development kit or to receive discounts on a variety of MSP430 tools. The kit is a complete wireless development tool for the MSP430 and the CC2500 low-cost single chip 2.4GHz transceiver and includes all the hardware and software required to develop an entire wireless project with the MSP430 in a convenient USB stick.
