PLX TeraPHY 10GBase-T Transceiver Named “Best of Interop” Finalist
PLX Technology, Inc. today announced its TeraPHY TN8045 10GBase-T transceiver has been selected as a Best of Interop Awards finalist in the Networking category at the upcoming Interop Conference. PLX will demonstrate its unique networking products, May 8-10, in booth #2160 at the conference, held in Las Vegas, Nev.
The The PLX TN8045 10GBase-T transceiver is a quad-port physical layer (PHY) device housed in an industry-leading small 25mm-square package that is space-optimized to allow for 12 devices to fit side-by-side in a standard 48-port 10 Gigabit Ethernet Top-of-Rack (ToR) switch. The TN8045 is also ideal for a wide range of applications beyond these high-density ToR switches, including multi-port network adaptors that cater to servers, multi-port switch uplinks, and media converters. TN8045 features a 10GBase-KR backplane interface, enhanced Energy Efficient Ethernet (eEEE) support, on-chip MACSec security and encryption hardware, and offers the most comprehensive and proven suite of electromagnetic interference (EMI) mitigation hardware.
