Test specialist Ruetz System Solutions enhances the business field of 'Test House as a Service' by offering an operator model for the validation of infotainment and telematics.
The
qualified system integrator for automotive data communication thus takes on the role of general contractor, responsible for the validation of a building block per design stage until start of production (SOP). With this solution we support manufacturers as partners, offering an objective assessment of the maturity level of a development at any design stage, and thus contribute to a smooth and punctual production start, said Wolfgang Malek, General Manager and Co-founder of Ruetz System Solutions. All test tasks are performed in our own laboratories. The competence areas include: the validation of in-car networks over all ISO/OSI layers including MOST(r) (Media Oriented Systems Transport) compliance tests, the validation of the integration of Apple OS(r) and Android(r) based consumer electronics devices, as well as release tests for cloud based telematics services.
Ruetz System Solutions bases the operator model for Test House as a Service on longtime experience in their own MOST compliance test laboratories, proven methods, structured processes and tool chains standardized to the greatest possible extent. The advantage of the model for manufacturers is that they need to neither gather special knowledge nor define and install laboratories of their own. In addition, meaningful and reliable test results are available at a very early project stage and throughout the entire design process.
