Syfer makes key US distribution move

Syfer, the Norwich-based manufacturer of ceramic multilayer chip capacitors and EMI suppression filters, has appointed Texas-based Mouser Electronics as its sole catalogue distributor in the US.

Mouser will offer Syfer’s FlexiCap polymer termination product as well the rest of Syfer’s product line-up that includes high voltage ceramic chip capacitors up to 6kV; application specific products including UL approved safety and surge protection; and High Q/High frequency and low inductance chips. In addition to the capacitor products, a broad range of EMI filters will be available, including surface mount Pi and C filters up to 20A dc, X2Y products and three-terminal EMI chips for pcb applications, as well as threaded and solder-in panel-mounted styles.
