Sweden’s Coop Forum Torp Implements ZBD’s ColourZone Epaper Displays To Streamline Store Operations
ZBD has announced that Coop Forum Torp in Sweden has installed its epaper displays and Breece System from its Nordic partner, Delfi Technologies A/S.
CoopAs well as providing operational cost savings, the fully graphic capabilities of ZBD’s displays enable retailers to provide more information at the shelf edge including QR codes and logos such as the EU organic farming logo, and the keyhole symbol, which has been adopted by Nordic countries to highlight healthy products.
”I’m proud that Coop Forum in Uddevalla is the first store in Sweden with Breece epaper. It is part of our strategy to use innovative tools to streamline and future-proof the daily store operations,” says store manager Peter Nordman, Coop Forum Torp in Uddevalla.
David Morgan, SVP Global Sales at ZBD said: “ZBD’s epaper system enables retailers to do so much more than what’s achievable with paper labels or segment electronic shelf labels. This contract marks yet more firsts for ZBD: our first installation in Sweden, and our first full store using yellow ColourZone displays. With almost 300 stores in Scandinavia using our system, we’re certain that this is the first of many more installations in Sweden.”
