Child-friendly computer keyboard from ZF Electronics helps small children take first steps in computing
ZF E
lectronics has developed a special edition “Pudsey” computer keyboard to donate to the Children in Need Appeal, which aims to raise funds and make positive changes to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in the UK. The company, a well-known manufacturer of computer input devices (mice, keyboards, desk sets and Smartcard readers), has designed a very limited-edition version of its popular G83-6191LPOGB-0 keyboard with lower-case letters to help small children take their first steps into computing. The white keyboard also features laser-printed Pudsey Bear logos showing Pudsey playing football, flying a biplane, waving and generally having fun! The keyboard is a special version of the popular Cherry G83-6000 series, which is extremely strong, reliable and robust, (over 30 million have been sold since the product was first introduced) so it will withstand rigorous use by enthusiastic small fingers!
The Pudsey keyboards will be auctioned on Ebay from 9th November, with the auction ending on Children in Need night on Friday 19th November. The reserve starts at just £20.
