Solid State Supplies today revealed that with effect from July 23rd, 2012, the company’s operations have relocated to new premises in Redditch, UK. The move to the new building provides a substantial increase in floor space, which will enable the distributor to augment its stock holding capacity, and prepares the ground for the introduction of a range of new services to be phased in over the next twelve months.
As a franchised distributor serving the UK electronics OEM community, Solid State Supplies represents a select number of global manufacturers of semiconductors, related components and modules, and offers a highly focused service with in-depth technical and commercial support.

The transfer of the business to a much larger site is part of the company’s ongoing growth strategy, which is driven by its commitment to develop existing supplier portfolios and to deliver added value services to customers. The extended warehouse facility will give customers access to a greater choice of products direct from stock, including a selection of components and modules from suppliers such as CML, Digi, Energy Micro, Allegro and Microsemi.

“This is an extremely positive move for the development of our business, and establishes a solid foundation on which to build our service offering,” said John Macmichael, Managing Director of Solid State Supplies. “Our reputation and success has long depended on our ability to provide first-rate technical and commercial resources, and this new building gives us an ideal physical environment in which to achieve even higher levels of service excellence.”
