SMART Group to discuss Industry 4.0 at conference

SMART Group has announced that it has added an Industry 4.0 session to its two-day European Conference at the National Physical Laboratory in Teddington, London. The conference will take place from 22nd to 23rd September 2015, and the Industry 4.0 event will take place on 23rd September. The NPL is an internationally renowned centre of excellence and technology.

In this parallel session with the SMART Group European Conference chaired by industry 4.0 thought leader and journalist Philip Stoten, attendees will learn what all the terms mean, and what Industry 4.0 can offer their businesses in terms of maintaining and extending competitiveness and profitability. Attendees also will see some real-life examples and work with likeminded professionals to understand how to get on the path to a smarter Industry 4.0 enabled supply chain.

Acknowledged experts will share their views of the current global manufacturing makeup and what will shape tomorrow’s. This is necessary listening for any manager planning a successful business future

The session will start with a breakfast and be followed by keynote presentations, a workshop and a Q&A round table that will allow attendees to understand and start their journeys to Industry 4.0 enlightenment.

Additionally, any delegates attending this parallel event can take advantage of the conference’s table top exhibition, attend any conference presentation and receive a copy of all of the presentation material. Industry 4.0 attendees also may join the conference reception that will take place on the evening of 22nd September.
