The intention between the companies is to also build a dedicated demonstration, research and design/consultancy service centre within the Middle East including an immersive Dome Theatre and a virtual reality CAVE system that enables clients to make informed decision making prior to the commitment and expenditure of building physical properties, be that anything from a prototype component to a full-scale photo-realistic vehicle, to walking through and assessing an entire Property Development, Theme Park, Retail Store or Entertainment facility. In a CAVE solution multiple iterations can be viewed in context and concepts through to complete solutions can be investigated and analysed rapidly and early within the design process to ensure costly mistakes are avoided, empowering development stakeholders to focus confidently on their key objectives.
SMC’s CEO, Paul Hennessy, said, “SMC is delighted to partner with HoloVis and recognises the importance of offering our clients unique and immersive technology and the critical role these solutions can play in creating new forms of value for a diverse range of markets across the Middle East. Our strategic partnership with HoloVis will allow the accelerated growth of new solutions and markets, positioning SMC at the forefront in deploying this exciting new technology alongside the core services and solutions SMC already provide”
